LGBT+ Officer

To become the LGBT+ Officer you must be a part of the LGBT+ community. You will single handily support and represent LGBT+ students at College. It would benefit students to organize an LGBT+ support group, this group would be great for you to increase your publicity with students and increase student participation. You should make yourself aware of LGBT+ issues that students and society are currently facing today. Keep yourself aware of the LGBT+ rights within college and NUS campaigns, make sure students know these events and dates. You should be a part of PRIDE and LGBT+ history month and promote your role and the status of college.  While in your role, you should promote positive involvement of LGBT+ students in all areas of the Students’ Union’s activities.
