Environmental Officer

To be the Environmental Officer you must have a passion and drive to make environmental change to benefit the environment and societies footprint. Within your role, you should help co-ordinate and promote the Students’ Union’s environmental campaigns and events. It would be beneficial for you to be involved within these events to promote your role and increase your publicity with students. You should encourage students to think about their impact on the environment and how they can make personal changes, e.g. instead of driving to college maybe cycle or use park and ride. To enhance student engagement and voice you should feedback any information received from students to the Students’ Union. You should advocate these views and campaign for relevant environmental issues.
